   First, let's get one thing straight.... your house will NEVER stay clean 24/7, and that is absolutely okay. You live in your home which creates a footprint. A messy or untidy home is a sign that you are alive and well. That is a good thing! Now that that is out of the way, let me share with you how I manage to keep my home clean when we aren't busy living it up. 

   

    Zones. Yup, I use zone cleaning to keep my home clean. I break it down by having tasks I do on a daily and weekly basis. I find that it is easier to get overwhelmed when you try to do everything all at once, so breaking things down into sections really helps my sanity. 

DAILY

       Every day I have a 30 minute morning routine, a 30 minute daily zone clean, a 15 minute weekly zone, and a 30 minute night time routine. It breaks down like this: 

Morning Routine

• Bed
• Dishes
• Counter
• Laundry (stick one load in the wash)

Daily Zones (only Monday - Friday)

• Zone 1 - Bathrooms
• Zone 2 - Floors
• Zone 3 - Dusting/Windows
• Zone 4 - Appliance Wipe Down
• Zone 5 - Bed Linens

Night Routine

• Dishes
• Counters
• Laundry (Fold)
• Pick Out Tomorrow's Clothes/Prep Bags

DEEP CLEAN WEEKLY ZONES

       In addition to my daily zones, I have one deep cleaning zone per week. I like to dedicate 15 minutes per day to the allotted zone and by the end of the week, that area will have been thoroughly cleaned. 

Weekly Zones

• Zone 1 - Master Bedroom
• Zone 2 - Living Room
• Zone 3 - Kitchen
• Zone 4 - Bathrooms
• Zone 5 - Dining & Gym
• Zone 6 - Bedrooms
• Zone 7 - Outside Windows
