I wanted to do something fun for this week's beauty blog post, so I decided on a very fun beauty tag. I found the perfect tag on The Beauty Section, where Anna sets out 30 beauty related questions. See what questions have me making these faces ^^^ (video version at the end of the post)!
30 Question Beauty Tag
1. Do you remember your first makeup item?
It was either LipSmackers chapstick or those fake press on nails.
2. Describe your perfect mascara. Have you found one that fits your specifications?
Definitely has to be lengthening and thickening. Long lashes without the width just isn't going to cut it. For length, I swear by the Maybelline Lots of Lashes. HOLY GRAIL status! For thickness, I swear by the Chanel Le Volume Mascara. It is amazing!
3. What kind of coverage do you prefer from a foundation?
Full coverage ALL THE WAY! I have acne scarring and hyperpigmentation that needs to be concealed, big time.
4. Favorite high-end brand?
It depends on what product we are talking about:
- Eyeshadows: Chanel
- Foundation: Estee Lauder
- Blush: Nars
5. What cosmetic brands have you always wanted to try but still haven’t?
Natasha Denona... Trying to justify the price 😕
6. Favorite drugstore brand?
This again depends on what product I'm looking for:
- Mascara: Maybelline
- Foundation: Cover Girl, Revlon
- Brows: NYX
Yes and No. It depends if I have time. #momlife
8. Is there any kind of makeup you can’t leave the house without?
Concealer. A MUST. I even wear it to the gym.
9. What is your most cherished beauty product?
The Charlotte Tilbury Bronze and Glow I purchased in London with Shaz. Not only is the bronzer amazing, the memories attached to it are priceless.
All of the above? Ha, but seriously, I pick up items here and there as well as splurging on hauls.
11. Do you have a “beauty budget” or you spend freely?
I need a budget, but I spend freely.
12. Do you utilize coupons, rewards cards, and sales when you shop for cosmetics?
Yessss! It would be dumb not to, right?
13. What type of product do you buy most of?
Foundation. Foundation is LIFE.
14. Is there a brand that you absolutely can’t stand?
No.
15. Do you avoid certain ingredients in cosmetics like parabens or sulfates?
No. I know Taralyn is huge on this, and I honestly should be avoiding certain products, but I honestly don't. I need to though!
16. Do you have a favorite place to shop for makeup?
Hands down, Ulta. I love their point system. It is the best point system available in my state.
17. Do you like trying new skincare products or do you keep a certain routine?
I love trying new skin care. Trying to prevent or delay the aging process as much as possible...
18. Favorite bath and body brand?
C.Booth, TreeHut, Lush, aaaahhhh! I can't just pick one!
19. If you could only buy from one brand, which brand would you choose?
Estee Lauder. As I mentioned before, foundation is life. The Double Wear foundation is my all time favorite and I fear I couldn't live without it!20. What brand do you think has the best packaging?
Tom Ford. It epitomizes luxury. Absolutely love their packaging.21. Which celebrity always has great makeup?

24. Do you like multifunctional products like lip and cheek stains?
Nope. They either only work well for one area or do not worth for either. Not a fan.25. Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?
Only with eyeliner.26. Do you use makeup base/primer for the eyes?
Yes, I have major redness or darkness #momlife! I use either Mac's Paint Pot or the foundation I am wearing for the day.27. How many hair products do you use on a typical day?
Three.
28. What do you apply first, concealer or foundation?
It depends on what type of foundation I am using. If I am applying powder foundation, then I will use concealer before. If I am using liquid foundation, then I will apply it after.29. Do you ever consider taking makeup classes?
Yes! It's always fun to play with and learn about makeup.30. What do you love about makeup?
That it's magic. Seriously! It gives me the confidence to be the best version of me possible. It can transform my mood in an instant. I love how empowering it can be for people.
